We have been fighting incredibly hard to ensure this year’s World Summit in Singapore continued as planned (14-16 April). In consultation with our sponsors, partners and speakers, and in light of the continuing health threat of coronavirus, other regional and international developments (new outbreaks, government enforced travel restrictions, company travel reduction) and a wide-spread anxiousness about attending public events, we have made the tough decision to postpone the Summit to August.
We have not taken this decision lightly. Our industry, more than ever, needs connectivity, engagement and the sharing of ideas and innovation, but more importantly it needs to be healthy, safe and happy. Our industry’s own long-term health is dependent upon the health of those within it and while it is disappointing not to run as planned, it is in the best interest of our industry, our people and our communities, that we postpone. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all those affected.

Looking forward, we have already set the new Summit dates as 3-5 August in the same venue, the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. The main conference and exhibition will be held over 3-4 August, the Awards Dinner on the night of 3 August and additional masterclasses and social activities on 5 August.

To close, this virus will pass, as others have. Our industry will grow once more and with added gusto we can work collectively, collaboratively, to improve the health and happiness of the world. We wish you and yours continued good health in the coming weeks and similarly good health to your business as well.
Look forward to seeing you in Singapore in August!
With best from all at FIT Summit,
