EuropeActive events: EHFF, EFAF and ISM to go fully digital in November 2021
Brussels, Belgium, 29th July 2021
Following the decision by FIBO to suspend its planned tradeshow in November to fully focus on FIBO in April 2022, EuropeActive would like to inform its members and stakeholders that the European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF), the European Fitness Associations Forum (EFAF) and the International Standards Meeting (ISM) will be held virtually in the first week of November. The adapted programme for EuropeActive’s President’s Councils Summit in early November is expected soon. Being mindful of its societal responsibility, as well as the safety of our staff and participants, EuropeActive has decided that the EHFF will be held virtually on Wednesday 3rd November 2021 and will include sessions and presentations by leaders and experts from within and outside of our industry under the four pillars of EuropeActive’s Manifesto: Health, Digital, Community and Standards.
Furthermore, two other annual EuropeActive events will take place virtually in the first week of November: The European Fitness Associations Forum (EFAF) on Thursday 4th November and the International Standards Meeting (ISM) on Friday 5th November.
EuropeActive’s exclusive gathering of the members of its President’s Council for Operators and its President’s Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech, the invitation-only President’s Councils Summit, is still expected to be held physically in early November, and the adapted programme will be circulated to participants in early September.
Commenting on EuropeActive’s annual events going virtual in the autumn of 2021, Executive Director Andreas Paulsen said: “In spite of the pandemic circumstances which have required us to go fully virtual with EuropeActive’s large annual events this autumn, I am profoundly encouraged by our members’ and stakeholders’ support of our decision, as well as by the close collaboration between the EuropeActive Team, FIBO and Sibec Europe. We will make sure that we deliver outstanding events to our different stakeholder groups in November.
Although taking place on virtual platforms, we will offer industry-leading educational and inspirational events this autumn which will feature top-level experts and leaders from both within and outside of the fitness and physical activity sector”, he concluded.
More information regarding EuropeActive’s autumn 2021 events, registration and final programmes will follow soon.
