EuropeActive partners with 4global Consulting to enhance data strategy and digital transformation

Brussels, Belgium, 7th July 2020

EuropeActive, Europe’s most influential not-for profit organisation representing the whole of the European fitness and physical activity sector, is pleased to announce its new partnership with international sports consultancy 4global with the aim of developing and strengthening fitness data collection across Europe.

As EuropeActive’s new official partner, 4global will support and develop EuropeActive’s data collection across Europe and proactively share the considerable insights and outcomes resulting from this process.

4global Consulting Partner Utku Toprakseven stated: “We are delighted to partner with EuropeActive and look forward to working with the team to deliver its strategic objective in maximising the value of data and insight.  Through our work in the UK we have seen the significant benefits of developing a robust physical activity data infrastructure. It is critical that we enable consistent measurement and allow organisations to demonstrate the value that they generate, driving greater investment into getting more people, more active, more often. This partnership provides a great opportunity to support the digital transformation within the European fitness and physical activity sector.”

EuropeActive Executive Director Andreas Paulsen also commented on the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with a renowned, professional organisation committed to help EuropeActive develop leading data-collection infrastructure across Europe. We are confident that 4global’s unique expertise in digital data collection and analytics will significantly strengthen EuropeActive’s ability to inform and professionalise our sector.”

Herman Rutgers, co-founder and current EuropeActive Ambassador said: “4global has over the years proven to be a very professional company to help operators with market intelligence. We are happy that 4global has now joined EuropeActive as member and we look forward to work with them to develop similar market intelligence on a European level.”
