EuropeActive partners with Sport Alliance to enhance digital transformation Brussels, Belgium, 7th December 2020
EuropeActive (EA), the leading voice and non-profit association representing the European fitness and physical activity sector, is pleased to announce Sport Alliance GmbH as a new Bronze member. Sport Alliance’s mission is to digitalize the fitness industry by offering a holistic cloud platform for gyms and studios with the ultimate goal of making fitness more accessible and to promote a more active lifestyle.
Sport Alliance has been part of the digitalization process of the fitness industry for over 30 years with their member management software “Magicline”. The company specifically targets the major challenges and pain points most gym operators face in the current world including lead generation, lead conversion and member retention by offering smart digital solutions that inspire people to be more active, more often.
As these goals align with EuropeActive’s mission and vision, it came natural for Sport Alliance to join the EuropeActive network. Sport Alliance’s digital ecosystem has been the fuel behind RSG Group’s race to become the world’s largest fitness operator. Now the company is looking to also serve other operators in Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands and many more around the globe.
Sport Alliance GmbH CEO Daniel Hanelt stated: “We are very pleased to be joining the EuropeActive family. As a successful software provider on the German market, we would now like to help gym operators in all countries with the digitalization of their sports facilities.
“Sport Alliance GmbH aims to digitalize the fitness industry and inspire everybody to live an active and healthy life. Becoming an EuropeActive member is a natural step for us as a Europe-based company. We are glad to be a part of this movement and are looking forward to collaborating with the other members to globally promote a more active lifestyle”, he concluded.
EuropeActive Executive Director Andreas Paulsen also commented on the partnership: “We are pleased to partner with Sport Alliance as a professional digital organisation committed to hasten the process of digitalisation of our sector. Sport Alliance’s data-based knowledge of end-user behaviour in our sector will undoubtedly be of critical importance to the process of reinventing our sector for better versions of ourselves, as we move out of the shadow of Covid-19.
The Covid-19 pandemic has shown our entire ecosystem that digitalisation and fitness-tech have become existentially important to effectively connect with fitness and physical activity consumers of all backgrounds everywhere. Based on the Digital heading of our Horizon 2025 Sectoral Manifesto, we are deeply committed to support and promote our sector’s digital and tech community in building our future digital infrastructure and tech solutions”.
