FIBO is on again: The fitness sector meets on the web

From re-inventing fitness clubs and strategies for coping with the Corona crisis to the use of Artificial Intelligence in work-outs – the debut of FIBO@business looks to topics revolving around current trends in the industry, digitalisation, health and e-commerce. “After postponing the trade show in April we are now finally in the starting blocks, all digital but brimming with top-class content for the fitness industry,” says Silke Frank, Event Director of FIBO. From 1 to 2 October the first digital FIBO will take place delivering valuable input for club operators, trainers, physiotherapists and dealers – plenty of it broadcast live from the studio. For this new, virtual FIBO feel, the use of state-of-the-art communication technologies offers excellent interaction possibilities between trade visitors and exhibitors plus an extensive line-up of lectures.

Brand Portal
Visitors can also find out about new products launched in the industry at FIBO@business.  On the Brand Portal exhibitors such as ACISO Fitness & Health, EGYM, Life Fitness, Ludwig Artzt and Technogym present themselves. An authentic trade show feel is ensured by so-called Drop-In Meetings that enable spontaneous exchange between exhibitors and trade visitors. Thanks to this feature questions and issues arising a short time after the contact can be addressed in a personal dialogue just like at a physical trade show paying a visit to a physical stand.

Online and free: Topical expertise for maximum business success
FIBO@business bets on business-relevant content that moves visitors – emotionally, thematically but also in sporting terms. With this move FIBO organisers have accounted for the effects of the global pandemic on the fitness industry and offer valuable orientation and concrete support by means of a high-quality programme that can be called up around the clock during FIBO@business. On top of this there will be an exclusive live programme.

Offered live will be exclusive Industry Insights and exciting talks on the new FIBO TV. Available on demand in the form of pre-recorded videos will be information-packed keynote speeches. These will focus on themes that drive the future dealing with topics of relevance for managing the crisis including valuable Global Insights, launches of award-winning Product Innovations and high-calibre web conferences such as the Aufstiegskongress 2020: ONLINE ONLY, the FitTech Summit: FIBO Edition, the ECC Köln, Prevention, Rehabilitation and Therapy as well as the Rehasport Online Convention.

FIBO TV: The longest talk show in the industry broadcast live from the studio
The FIBO TV programme is brimming with highlights such as the features “Connect or Be Connected: Digitising Gyms’ Inner Workings”, “Third Places: Re-inventing Fitness Clubs for the Age of Health” or “Customer Retention as a Key to Success, But How?” and provides invaluable impulses for sustainable business success.
