After a year’s break, from tomorrow until Sunday 26th September, sport and wellbeing will once again be the absolute protagonists at Rimini Expo Centre, thanks to Italian Exhibition Group’s event.
10 halls will host activities and training events as well as FoodWell Expo with all the latest proposals for healthy eating.

Rimini, 23rd September 2021 – The desire to keep fit never stopped in the face of the health crisis and now it is finally time for the sports sector to start again. The positive sign of the restart comes from RiminiWellness, Italian Exhibition Group’s international event which, from tomorrow to Sunday 26th September, will reopen its gates to fitness professionals and enthusiasts.
In fact, the wellness market, which, until 2020, was increasing in Italy at an average of 6% per year with a turnover of around 10 billion Euros, last year, and for the first part of 2021, was heavily penalised by the pandemic, causing a temporary forced closure of all face-to-face courses and a number of facilities shut down.
Today we can and must get back to face-to-face fun and there are numerous proposals to do just that, all waiting to be discovered.

For this return, RiminiWellness wanted to aim at the enjoyment of its public, so the focus of the event will be 100% on what is “fun”. The exhibition halls featuring equipment, furnishings and machinery for gyms will be back in June 2022.
10 of the Expo Centre’s halls (for a total area of 60,000 square metres) will be bustling with a full programme of events aimed at fitness/dance workouts, indoor and outdoor activities and psycho-physical wellness with innovative holistic itineraries. Visitors will have 3 days to try out the many new training proposals for getting back into top physical and mental shape. No matter what your age, what counts is feeling well.
The more “daring” will also be able to test themselves with exercises such as Hanuman The Cage Training, which, which, by means of a training cage measuring 2.30 metres (height), 1 metre (width), 1 metre (length), makes it possible to effectively complete calisthenic and functional training while improving posture, balance and muscle tone.
Crossfitters will not go amiss at the 6th edition of Italian Showdown, the largest annual sports competition recognised and licenced by the Crossfit® brand, which, for the first time, will be held at the Expo Centre. Alongside classic indoor cycling, bike lovers will appreciate Cyclex, a new format that combines pedalling with a Total Body Work Out on the Bike with the aim of proposing a more fitness-oriented idea.
For those who love holistic disciplines, however, essential Pilates and Yoga will certainly be featured and will also be joined by Bio-gymnastics Lifestyle, Pilates on sliding disks, the Multidisciplinary Hypopressive Method (MIM) and BodyFly Bamboo, which, through movements and specific tools, work on postural balance, breathing and a person’s psychophysical well-being.
“Visual Arena” for training the experts of tomorrow
Over the years, RiminiWellness has become a veritable reference point for all those who want to make sport their profession. That is why, at this 15th edition, an ample space, called Visual Arena, will be provided featuring leading companies and associations such as FIF – Italian Fitness Federation, Wellink, TeamSystem, Fiteducation and LifeBrain. Their trainers and teams will make their skills available through conferences, seminars and free training and in-depth sessions.
Another highly-anticipated event is the ANIF (National Sport&Fitness Facility Association) annual National Congress entitled “Recovery of sports centres. Politics, science and sports management for a future of growth”, which will be attended by Minister Maria Stella Gelmini, Undersecretary for Sport, Valentina Vezzali, Nerio Alessandri, CEO&Founder of Technogym.
Seventh edition for FoodWell Expo
After months of sitting around and an incorrect diet induced by the months of lockdown, it is also now time to undertake (or retrieve) the right eating habits at the table. Countless proposals for a healthy lifestyle – for all age groups – can be found at FoodWell Expo, the area devoted to healthy food that, for the seventh year, will be included within the event.
Leading food brands on the market will guide visitors on a journey to learn about the benefits of consuming functional foods, nutraceuticals, pre/probiotics, natural and “free from” products, or of using the right food supplements to support intense physical activity.
