The 7th European Health & Fitness Forum is less than a week away!
We’re gearing up for the 7th European Health and Fitness Forum which will be delivered live from a professional TV-studio in Düsseldorf, Germany. There will be speakers both on-site and joining via live-stream with more than 350 virtual participants from across Europe and the world. The full one-day online programme will include presentations, a panel session, Q&A’s and is the one event you should not miss.

“How EuropeActive’s mission and vision are now more relevant than ever”

The COVID-19 crisis and lockdown firmly reiterated the importance of healthy living and represents a massive social responsibility and opportunity for the European fitness and physical activity sector. At EHFF, addressing EuropeActive’s mission, vision and Horizon 2025, President David Stalker will inform delegates of EuropeActive’s ambitions for our sector in the coming years. This includes new initiatives and projects as the THINK Active research centre, the President’s Council for operator CEOs, EuropeActive’s Digital Council, the Green Pledge and updated professional standards for people and places. Certainly a session you should not miss!
SafeActive Study: measuring the COVID-19 infection risk
EuropeActive, together with research and evaluation partners AWRC-Sheffield Hallam University and King Juan Carlos University, has commenced the data collection process for the SafeActive Study, an independent assessment and evaluation of COVID-19 infection risk on fitness clubs and leisure facilities across Europe.As part of our new THINK Active research centre, the study seeks to demonstrate through evidence-based research that the fitness and physical activity sector infrastructure is safe and well-prepared for this health crisis. EFAF Roundtable to share latest updates across EuropeIn the run up to the European Health and Fitness Forum, EuropeActive and its national association partners will come together on Thursday 24th September in the well-established EFAF roundtable format to exchange the latest information and coordinate their actions. Together, they provide the fitness and physical activity sector with a strong voice to promote and protect its interests at both the national and the European level.
