EREPS, the European Register of Exercise Professionals, is the largest international register of instructors, trainers and teachers working in the European fitness and physical activity sector and is an important assurance for both employers and consumers. Currently recognising the qualifications and skills of fitness professionals in more than 75 countries EREPS has the goal of guaranteeing that every instructor and trainer in Europe holds the appropriate qualification(s) so that people can work out safely and effectively.
As part of its on-going focus on supporting its community of members EREPS has re-launched its website. The new look website has been refreshed and updated to reflect the vibrant nature of our sector and is designed to better illustrate the reach of the register across Europe and beyond through developing relationships with various partner National Registers.
One of the main features of the new website is the inclusion of an EREPS Ambassador webpage. As a mark of professionalism and quality, EREPS Ambassadors have been individually selected by EREPS in recognition of their achievements in inspiring and educating within the fitness and physical activity sector. Our Ambassadors are leading fitness professionals in their individual fields and share the values of EREPS in terms of lifelong learning and active lifestyles. They appear globally at different fitness conventions, events, training courses and conferences sharing their expertise and knowledge as well as inspiring, motivating and shaping the future of our sector.
EREPS Ambassador and PSC Deputy Director Anna Bogdanova commented: “It is a huge honour to join forces with EREPS in raising the bar for the entire fitness sector, working alongside extraordinary fitness professionals and role models like the EREPS ambassadors. I am also very excited about the initiatives we are preparing to equip EREPS members with up-to-date evidence-based standards, opportunities for lifelong learning and practical perspectives on developing their value proposition”.

Director of Professional Standards Committee (PSC) Julian Berriman said: “The new look EREPS website perfectly illustrates the growth of EREPS across Europe and beyond. This growth reflects the inclusive nature of EREPS and the recognition of the quality of the EREPS membership across many countries. It is also great to see our EREPS Ambassadors leading the way in educating and inspiring their fellow fitness professionals!”.
