Whittlebury Park Leisure Club launches live stream and on-demand workout classes

Whittlebury Park Leisure Club has launched a range of over one hundred new fitness classes available to members on a live-stream and on-demand basis – the perfect post-lockdown energy boost to help people get fit, anywhere they choose.

From 4.99 per month*, members can participate in as many live stream classes as they wish and access over 100 on-demand workouts at a time convenient to them, all from the comfort of their own homes.

From body tone to HIIT (high intensity interval training) and Pilates to bootcamps, Barre fitness and ‘no weights Wednesdays’, there are classes for every exercise style and ability – from beginner to advanced. In the live streamed classes, instructors will give feedback and support to ensure that participants are performing the exercises correctly.

Also included are several month-long challenges which allow participants to follow a specific plan and workout with instructors online, such as the ‘Post Lockdown Body Blitz’ – a four-week programme including HIIT, functional training, strength and conditioning classes.

Greg Darkes, Head of Membership Sales & Leisure Club Operations at Whittlebury Park, says: “We trialled our on-demand classes during lockdown and we had excellent feedback, so we decided to bring them back this month, to help people return to exercise in a way that is convenient to them. We want to make our classes as accessible as possible, and this way our members can benefit from regular classes and workouts with their favourite instructors remotely. We hope that participants find this an excellent addition to their membership.”

Whittlebury Park’s range of in-person fitness classes will resume on-site at its state-of-the-art gym and leisure centre when government guidelines permit. They will take place from larger studios to accommodate physical distancing while allowing classes to operate within normal capacity.

The Leisure Club at Whittlebury offers first-class facilities including a gym with the latest Artis by Technogym equipment, a 19-metre swimming pool with bubble jets, salt sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, Body & Mind Studio and The Terrace Cafe for light meals and snacks poolside.

To ensure a safe stay for guests and a healthy working environment for its team members Whittlebury Park operates in line with its StaySafe Initiative, which assures guests that the highest health and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the resort. This has been endorsed by MIA (the Meetings Industry Association) and Visit Britain.
