On 2nd April we successfully launched the European Health & Fitness Market Report together with Deloitte. The report was officially presented in a follow-up webinar to unveil the key findings from the year 2019 and the impact of Coronavirus. EuropeActive’s ‘Fitness on the Move’ project kicked-off!
The kick-off meeting of EuropeActive’s Fitness on the Move project took place on 3rd January with all 4 EU partners and on 16th April with international Indian partners. Due to Covid-19 traveling restrictions, project meetings are now taking place virtually by using digital platforms. This new project is managed by DG EAC of the European Commission and it is one of 10 Preparatory Action & Pilot Projects in the field of mobility.

Basic-Fit International and its measures for club opening
Basic-Fit International published a report on specific measures to undertake for club re-opening including safe distance during exercises, intensive cleaning procedures, extra protection measures and being watchful for symptoms. The plan was developed with an experienced senior leadership team and in consultation with Basic-Fit International suppliers and partners.
